ALL IN ON ATTENDANCE – Attendance Powers Performance

With testing season here, attendance ensures students have the tools and preparation they need to do their best. Students who attend daily in April score up to 12 points higher on standardized tests. The late bell rings at 9:00am. Students should be in their classroom ready to learn at that time. Please email hollinshead@fultonschools.org and copy your child’s teacher when your child is absent.

URGENT: Read Now

Greetings Tiger Family,

As we approach the end of the semester, we want to share important schedule and transportation updates that may impact your family. These changes are necessary due to neighboring high school graduations, which have resulted in virtual learning days and early dismissals at nearby schools and will affect student transportation.

Final Exams will take place on Monday, May 11 and Tuesday, May 12. Students will take exams during their regular class period. Teachers will communicate which day the exam will be administered.

On Wednesday, May 13, our school will observe a Virtual Learning Day due to our school’s graduation. Students will not report to campus.

On Thursday, May 14, transportation and attendance will be impacted as follows:

  • Students zoned for Tri-Cities or Creekside will have a Virtual Day, and no neighborhood bus transportation will be provided.
  • Students zoned for Banneker will experience an early dismissal. Parents should plan to pick up students at 11:15 AM at Banneker or expect students to arrive home early if they ride the neighborhood bus.

On Friday, May 15, students zoned for Langston will have an early dismissal. Parents should plan to pick up students at 12:30 PM or expect students to arrive home early on the neighborhood bus.

Students impacted by early dismissal or lack of neighborhood bus transportation are encouraged to utilize a remote learning day. Students will not be penalized for their absence.

Please use the following link to request a remote day: Remote Day Request Link

From May 18–21, recovery opportunities will be available for students. More details will be shared soon.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we close out the school year.
